As an illustrator and designer, my paintings reflect the knowledge and wisdom learned through a lifetime of working in the world of creative design. Inspiration for these pieces is heavily rooted in favorite New England scenes and abandoned objects found in unusual settings. As a recipient of many juried art show awards including First Place in drawing, pastel and watercolor, I believe my primary objective is to insure that my work inspires you...if I can stimulate your senses through my work...then you've made my art a success.

Have you ever had a friend who sees you struggling or in pain and takes it upon themselves to create something special just to try to help to lift your spirit and soul? Someone who has created something for you purely out of the kindness of their heart? I have. This person is my dear friend Tony. An extraordinary artist and human being. He most certainly helped me to find some light during dark moments. He is one of a few “angel friends” that I have around me. I hope that others know that during times of heartache and crisis that there are people who can help to lift you out. Even if you feel alone and frightened. I learned that if you muster up the courage and open your heart, just enough, that they will find you and help you navigate through.
I will cherish this painting. And how you captured me in it. I will reflect on it often and when the world becomes heavy for me I know that it will remind me of the gifts that I have been given.
I am so very grateful for you Tony. Thank you for being such a special person, artist, and friend. The world is a better place thanks to you.

THE PROCESS
My work begins with direct observation
the shifting light, the curve of a horizon, the fleeting color of sky and sea. From there, I translate these impressions into form, building each piece with transparent washes, layered tones, and intentional texture.
It’s less about recording a scene than capturing an atmosphere — the mood, the movement, the emotion behind the moment.
Each finished painting is meant to connect, offering collectors not just an image, but an experience of place and memory.
